Wedding season is upon us folks! For many women that means pulling out our old bridesmaid dresses and deciding which one is the least horrific to wear.

*Shudders in chiffon and ruffles*

Thankfully I'm here to tell you to stuff away those horrendous things. 

Instead of ugly ruffles and puke colored dresses, I brought in this mermaid pastel maxi dress. At first glance this dress might seem too casual for a wedding with its pastel palettes and maxi fit. But it's all about how you style it. 

This mermaid dress is the unicorn of maxi dresses. It's feminine enough to dress up with heels and earrings for a wedding, and it's casual enough to wear with sandals and a hat for the beach.
